Here are three changes you can make to maximize your home’s value.

People ask me all the time how they can get more money for their homes. That’s why today I want to go over three ways to improve your home’s value.

1. Set aside some space for a home office. Since the pandemic, more people are working from home and want a dedicated workspace. I recommend renovating an extra room or adding an area for people who work from home.

“The pandemic has changed how we live our lives, and more people spend time in their homes.”

2. Increase your outdoor living space. As people spend more time in their homes, they want nice outdoor spaces to enjoy without leaving the house. You can add a firepit, a brick patio, or some bushes to increase privacy. Buyers value the chance to step outside and relax for a moment, and an outdoor space does just that.

3. Have an area for a home gym. Are you noticing a theme? The pandemic has changed how we live our lives, and more people spend time in their homes. If you set aside an area for a home gym, buyers will appreciate the opportunity to exercise from the comfort of their homes.

Hopefully, you found these tips useful. If you need a great contractor to help you make these changes, reach out to me; I have plenty of great contacts I’d be happy to share. As always, if you have any questions about today’s video, or if you have an idea for a future video, please call or email me. I’d love to hear from you.
